Volo Broadband Benefit Programs
Need help paying your internet bill? Volo can help!
The FCC Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBBP) has transitioned to the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) beginning 12/31/2021.
Both programs provide discounted internet bills for households struggling to pay for internet service. The EBBP was created during the pandemic and provides a benefit of $50/month, while the new ACP is a longer-term program, providing a benefit of $30/month. Anyone enrolling on 12/31/2021 or after will participate only in the ACP at $30/month.
We can help enroll current Volo customers who qualify, and we can also help others switch from their current internet provider.
To qualify for the ACP, at least one member of your household must meet the criteria listed at https://acpbenefit.org.
Complete the form below to see if you qualify for an internet subsidy discount. Once verified through the Lifeline National Verifier (NV), a Volo representative can help finish enrolling you in the ACP. Upon approval, the FCC will start subsidizing your Volo internet bill. If you qualify for the ACP, you’ll receive a discount up to $30 per month on your Volo internet services.
If you have any questions, please call Volo at 217-367-8656 and ask for a Broadband Benefit specialist.
CURRENT EBBP CUSTOMERS:
The EBBP will end 3/1/2022 and all those actively enrolled in EBBP at that time will be automatically moved to the ACP.
If you are currently enrolled in the EBB Program, you do not need to do anything, your benefit will continue under the ACP.
However, starting 3/1/2022 the EBBP benefit will be reduced to $30/month on the ACP (end of the 60-day transition period).
Subscribers (customers) have the option to switch service offerings at any time.
You will receive additional information if you need to take steps to retain your benefit after the transition period.
